“To be, or not to be, that is the question. ” This was Prince Hamlet’s hardest decision. At first, he wanted to escape from his trouble by killing himself, but at last, he found it useless dying with nothing meaningful done. So he investigated his father’s death and revenged the murder.
In my life, I haven’t met such serious and difficult problems yet. But the hardest decision I’ve ever made was really unforgettable. When I was to graduate from primary school, I had two choices: I could go to study in a famous school filled with excellent students. Or I could study in an ordinary school where my parents are working and which is quite familiar to me.
Every coin has two sides. If I go to the famous school, I may achieve high grades, but too much time must be spent on study. If I stay here, I will have more time for my personal hobbies and various activities, which will improve my abilities. I can also be more confident. All of these will be beneficial to my all-round development.
“So, which should I choose, high scores or self-development?” I wondered.
With days going by, it was high time for me to make up my mind. I had my final choice: staying with my parents.
You know, Hamlet also said: “This above all: to thine own self be true.” And I will never regret making this decision. I am convinced that as long as I work hard and try my best, I will have success not only in study, but also in life.
